Winter months we will target pretty much the same as summer but more on the sailfish, King Mackerel, Cero mackerel, Wahoo, etc. Depending on the time of year will be fishing anywhere from the patches to offshore in 1000 plus feet of water.

A Full Day Offshore is eight hours and the ultimate Florida Key fishing experience! We typically travel 5-20 miles offshore targeting all of the larger pelagic species such as Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo and Sailfish (species are seasonal). On a Full Day Charter it also allows time to stop at the local reef/wrecks for some bottom fishing for Snapper and Grouper as well! This is the fish it all type of charter!

This will be a full 8-hour trip on the Spring Mix II. You'll leave the dock at 7:00 a.m. and search for Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, as well as bottom dwellers like Amberjack, Mutton Snapper, and Red Snapper. This trip is a bit more involved than the shorter trips. We will be targeting the glory fish that roam out beyond the reef edge! The day will begin with going to the bait patch and loading the livewells, which usually takes around an hour from the dock. Our target species will be structured around what is biting best at the given time. The main target will be Sailfish, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna and Kingfish. No matter what we always have a bottom rod set for groupers (when in season) and mutton snapper!

Excellent guide! Patient, knows the water end to end. Great boat. Captain Galon will put you on fish and keep you busy all day. Maybe best of all, Captain Galon is a nice person and we had a great time spending a day with him. Highly recommend him to others!

Our trip was on time. He had everything we needed. My wife has not fished much and she was highly successful with Jon-Paul’s help. We knocked several species off of our bucket list. From polling the flats, sneaking through the mangroves or hitting bridge’s bridges when the tide swing was perfect, he had the trip lined out beautifully! I would highly recommend! A true gentleman and interesting young man to spend the day with.
