South Africa King Mackerel (Kingfish) Fishing Charters

You will need about 30 minutes to reach the fishing grounds, which are up to 25 miles (40 km) out. There, you will be targeting big game and bottom species, including Striped Marlin, Black Marlin, Dorado, Wahoo, King Mackerel, and maybe even Blue Marlin.

Fishing Permits are compulsory for everyone ages 12 and up. The kids will be spoiled with a wide variety of interesting choices of fish to catch in the productive Durban Harbour. They'll get a short tour of the boat's operations and learn all the basics of fishing from the experienced and friendly crew members of Aqua Nautical Adventures. Please note, this charter accommodates a maximum of 8 anglers per trip.

You'll be targeting a variety of species, including King Mackerel and maybe even Yellowfin Tuna. This trip is perfect for novice anglers and families with little ones, as you can still reel in a great catch but the waters are much calmer! Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as safety equipment.

Take a full day trip when the fish bite like crazy. This is the best time of the year to take a trip, so don't miss out the chance. You can go trolling or bottom fishing, it all depends on what you want to catch. The boat accommodates up to 8 adults, or 10 guests if there are kids onboard.

Join the captain for an action-packed adventure. His speciality – fishing for Yellowfin Tuna! Baiting, trolling, popping, and Jigging are all available. This trip is subject to the minimum pax reached for the day. When it comes to Yellowfin Tuna fishing, you want an experienced charter operator.

You and the crew will meet at the launch site at 5:30 a.m. You will launch at 6:00 a.m. and return at 14:00 p.m. Enjoy an 8-hour offshore adventure as you chase species such as Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Big Trevally, and Wahoo.

Travel to the town of Bloemhof and enjoy a fun chase for Barbel. You and the skipper will depart at 8:00 a.m. and fish until 4:00 p.m. Bring only whatever food and drinks you like as well as fishing licences. The skipper will provide everything else.

Backline fishing is a great outdoor activity with lots of fun. It's best in the early mornings, late afternoons, and evenings. This evening trip is perfect for novice anglers and families with kids. You'll fish just outside the harbour, so you'll stay in calm waters. Up to 10 guests may come on this trip.
