Port Renfrew Lingcod Fishing Charters

On this trip, you'll be setting out first thing in the morning for the run offshore to the famed Swiftsure Banks or up the shoreline. Targeting all five species of wild Pacific Salmon and Pacific Halibut is the captain's goal every day. You'll return to the dock in mid-afternoon after a quick pull of crab traps to have Nick expertly clean your day's catch.

Perfect for those who want to spend a day enjoying the nature and wildlife that Sooke has to offer. Target Salmon, Lingcod, and other species that call these waters home. ALSO YOU GOT YOUR OWN PRIVATE DOCK WITH THIS CHARTER.

For a full day of fishing, we usually leave the dock at 6:00am and run for an hour to Swiftsure bank and fish for salmon, halibut, and other bottom fish then return back to the boat around 2:00

Full Day fishing offshore for Salmon, Halibut, and King Cod!

Your package includes a full day of fishing, tackle, and bait. We will clean your catch at the end of the trip, additional processing such as vacuum sealing or smoking is available in Port Renfrew through a third-party provider at your cost. We do not include fishing licenses for any trip, these must be obtained by each guest prior to departure.

Get the early bite, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Rockfish and Lingcod season in Sooke is open from May 1st until September 30th. Jigging for Rock cod and Ling cod is a hands-on fishery. Some people enjoy jigging for cod over trolling for salmon. If this is you, get your group together and come aboard. 'Raven' is the perfect platform for cod jigging. We'll throw the crab traps out on the way out and pull them upon our return.

Spend 8 hours on the water, trolling for Salmon and jigging for bottom fish if you’d like to (Lingcod, Halibut, and rockfish). With only a short run to the fishing grounds you are sure to spend your time fishing effectively. We'll also be dropping our crab traps on the way out, letting them soak full of bait for Dungeoness crab. All fish filleted and cleaned for you at the dock at the end of your trip.

With a 7-15 minute boat ride to the most exciting fishing ever. We will drop crab pots on the way out to ensure our success.
