Dana Point Lingcod Fishing Charters

Experience the fun and exciting inshore fishery off of Dana Point. A great trip for the family or a group looking to get out on the water to enjoy a few hours of fishing and local sightseeing. We will target our local reefs for our inshore species and run offshore if we hear of big game fish close to home. A great trip for all experience levels.

Great for beginners to seasoned vets! Half day trips are typically lots of action and very fun quick trips. Usually fishing Calico/Sand Bass or Rockcod. Occasionally catch Yellowtail, White Seabass, and Halibut.

This trip will have you fish the local spots for Calicos, Barracuda, Bonito, Rockfish, and a shot at exotic species such as Yellowtail, Halibut, and White Seabass. Departure time can be flexible.

Target local game fish in the nearshore and offshore waters. Go after Mahi Mahi, Lingcod, Rockfish, Barracuda, and more. The crew will prepare your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks, but feel free to bring your own. You can keep the catch afterward and the crew will fillet it for you.

Captain Brian Woolley has 35 years of experience. You're welcome to keep all legal species caught during the trip and our crew will clean them for an extra fee. Be advised that rods, reels and terminal tackle are not included in the trip price. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time. For any questions or assistance, you can also consult with the first mate and the rest of the crew while on the boat. Tips for good service are always appreciated. Children are welcome too.

Head out to offshore grounds and fish for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Yellowtail, and more!

Fishing outside the break wall up to 10 miles out to target Bass, Rockfish, Sculpin, Sheepshead, Barracuda, Halibut, and if lucky, you can get Yellowtail on summer days. Customers 16+ must purchase a California fishing license prior to the trip. Please take care of your crew, they will provide you with the best customer service, 20-25% is the average tip. Fishing outside the harbor usually 2-6 miles out at the rockpiles and kelp line for Calico Bass and local shallow water Rockfish.

This short trip offers the same possibilities as the option. It's an all-inclusive trip (other than a fishing license) for up to 6 passengers. It's a great option for beginners, families with kids, and those who don't want to stay on the water for too long. Food) for up to 6 passengers.
