Gloucester Atlantic Mackerel Fishing Charters

We suggest you should bring the following: food, beverage, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, warm clothes, and nonmarring soft rubber shoes. Ready for the time! of your life!!

With the whole day onboard, you can head out further in search of big Haddock and Pollock, while still having time to catch huge Striped Bass closer to shore. The boat is yours for the whole day so get out there and catch some awesome fish!

This trip is perfect for the whole family! You'll travel from the quiet backwaters into the deep ocean to target a range of various inshore and offshore species. Your targets include Bluefish, Flounder, Atlantic Mackerel, Striped Bass, Haddock, Pollock, Sharks, and even the prestigious Bluefin Tuna! You can also combine lobstering, beach parties, island tours, and extended sightseeing trips as a part of this excursion. Just let the captain know and he'll make it happen!

Come out and catch some Striped Bass on the 5 hour trip. We will fish live bait, dead bait, artificial lures...whatever it takes to hook them up. This trip can be booked for morning or afternoon. Departure times are flexible day to day.

This 5-hour inshore trip is great for Bass and early season Haddock! Come aboard and also enjoy a beautiful river cruise and sightseeing. You can also have a great time in the summer watching whales! This trip runs from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This trip includes all the fishing opportunities in the half day trip plus more time to catch bait and catch fish. There is more flexibility on trying multiple fishing locations, both in the river and Ipswich Bay.

7-hour trip departing at 07:00 AM targeting your preference of mackerel, striped bass, bluefish, or deep sea (haddock, cod, pollock, whiting, perch, etc.) You may choose to depart as late as 08:30 AM, with confirmation from Captain. Note that certain sunrise and early morning fishing opportunities may be missed with a later start.

This five-hour trip focuses on catching Striped Bass. We will use a variety of techniques such as live bait, trolling, or jigging. This is a good option for people of all skill and experience levels.

On this 8 hour trip, you will target Striped Bass and Bluefish (late July-August). We will mainly fish with live Mackerel that you catch at the beginning of the trip. If live baits are not available we will troll and fish with dead bait.

Inshore trips typically target Striped Bass using light spinning and fly tackle. Other species available on inshore trips include bluefish, cod, flounder, mackerel, and pollock. Since we are rarely more than 10 minutes from fishing, many of the trips we run May - October are 8-hour inshore trips. The 8-hour trips typically run from 7:00 to 3:30ish. These are perfect for family trips, as well as for folks who want to experience the wonderful fishery we have.
