Oceanside Striped Marlin Fishing Charters

This charter targets Marlin, Tuna, Mahi, Mako, Yellowtail, and Thresher Shark in the offshore canyons. Be ready to get your clothes bloody!

Osprey is a tournament rigged Sport Fisherman, fully equipped for all species. Includes: A USCG licensed captain, Experienced crew, Meals and drinks, All tackle, Bait, Fish filleting. Enclosed bridge well equipped with updated electronics including GPS, EPIRB, Side Scanning Sonar, radar (2), VHF, AIS, autopilot and sea temp.

This is the perfect fishing outing for experienced anglers, families, first time ocean anglers as well as those visitors with limited free time during a visit to town. We will fish the Coronado Islands, Inshore kelp, 9 mile bank, or San Diego Bay where you can expect to target local species including rockfish, bonito, barracuda, yellowtail and more.

This trip will have you fish the local spots for Calicos, Barracuda, Bonito, Rockfish, and a shot at exotic species such as Yellowtail, Halibut, and White Seabass. Departure time can be flexible.

Seasonal, March - December. Passports are not required. Go up to 45 miles offshore and target Bluefin tuna, Yellowfin tuna, Yellowtail Amberjack, Mahi Mahi (Dorado), and the occasional Marlin.

Fish offshore for tuna, yellowtail, dorado, and maybe marlin! Sharks can also be targeted. California and sometimes Mexican licenses are required. Ill let you know which licences well need before the trip.

Target local game fish in the nearshore and offshore waters. Go after Mahi Mahi, Lingcod, Rockfish, Barracuda, and more. The crew will prepare your fishing equipment, snacks, and drinks, but feel free to bring your own. You can keep the catch afterward and the crew will fillet it for you.

Spend the day offshore fishing for Bluefin Tuna, Yellowtail, and more! Spend your day hunting sought after fish like Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, and Yellowtail offshore. You'll be fishing with a rod in your hand and not spending the whole day trolling. Best times are typically May- October. This is the best fishing San Diego has to offer and is world class.

The last few trips we’ve been catching bluefin tuna over 150 pounds.. If you want to catch fish this is the trip. We can go anywhere. Depending on water temp, tuna, yellowtail, mahi, rockfish are all on the menu. Lots of fishing time on this trip. Pricing is for the entire boat.
