Spend 8 fine hours exploring areas with shallow water. You'll fish using light tackle and throw artificial as well as live. Sight fishing can be one hell of a fun because it's great to see the fish in the water just before they bite the hook!

Redfish Slam

Captain Michael had us reeling in redfish within 5 of leaving the dock! He was great with our 7 year old and kept all three of our lines baited. We caught flounder, croaker, pinfish, baby black tip sharks, and a bunch of redfish, which he filleted for us to eat that evening. This was our second trip with Michael and we'll be back next year!

Half Day Trip With Captain Michael Brannin
5/5
Recently chartered Brannin charters with my family. It was a great experience, we caught a large mix of redfish, flounder, and speckled trout. The captain was very patient with the younger kids and even spent extra time on the water with us to show us more areas and let us get the full experience.

Beautiful day on the beach!
5/5
Everything about our trip was great! The captain and first mate took care of all our needs! We were able to catch fish, relax and learn a ton. I have been surf fishing a few times over the last few years, but wanted to learn from the pros and this trip did exactly that! Casting, Rigging, Reading the beach and even how to drive on the beach! It was great! Thank you!!

Perfect for anyone wanting to learn how to surf fish or for anglers that don't have much luck catching fish from the beach.

Gary was very knowledgeable and helpful. He knows his stuff. We felt comfortable asking him any fishing question we had. His equipment was top notch and he provided everything. From baits, hooks, sinkers, reels and rods, to showing us where and why to fish in what area, he knew it all. Super nice and a joy to spend the morning with. He allowed us to make the trip exactly what we wanted it to be. Thanks, Gary!

Outstanding!

When you can catch your target fish it's a great day! Gary freely shared so much information and I'm glad I jotted down his pointers. He showed us a couple of knots that we will practice and use. Some of the details he shared about bait and bait placement were eye opening. Gary has an extensive knowledge of fishing in the surf and years of experience. He's a great teacher and I'm glad we spent the morning with him. We caught fish, laughed, and learned. You can't beat that.
