When weather permits a short run to nearshore reefs yield many species of Snapper, AJ's, Flounder and the occasional Cobia or King that frequents these reefs.

Fishing in the backwater of the mangrove shorelines is a great way to get away from everything and very relaxing. No sea sickness. Lure fishing and live bait using very light tackle is fun catching redfish, snook, spotted seatrout, tarpon, black drum, and whatever else tugs the line. Guaranteed to see dolphins and/or manatees. My boat is very stable and there is plenty of room for fishing. I can take up to 6 anglers.

Slow Time but a great time

June can be a slow season in NSB for fishing. TJ hustled the whole time to make sure my son had an opportunity to put fish in the cooler and to land a big one. We ended up with a trophy Black drum, and a PR Redfish for my son.

Brian was more than accommodating for my son and I, and also a super nice guy! We got on the redfish immediately. I landed one of my biggest ever redfish and then we switched gears nearshore to have fun with some big sharks. My son and I had a blast and would certainly use his services again when in town. We did the 2-hour. Timing was bad because it was right in between tides. Big Al put us in a spot where we caught black drum and ladyfish. Once the action died down we moved to another spot where we had various action, but then right at the end of our time we had a huge hit that turned out to be a P.B. 40" Redfish.

It was a beautiful day to be on the water. Captain Brian was a great guy, personable, insightful, patient, but also encouraging. My girlfriend and I were thrilled to get after some redfish and Capt made sure we found them. I got my PB red and my gf caught her first one ever! We’ll go with slick calm charters anytime we’re looking to get on some big fish 🤙🏼
