Maple Ridge Coho Salmon Fishing Charters

Our most popular trip and the best chance for your guide to go where he needs to be to maximize our shot at locating and hooking Salmon. We can go a little further to where the bite is on or to change locations if we need to.

A half-day trip is 5 hours. The 1 person rate is $800.00 CDN funds plus 5% GST. Not included is a $15 printed B.C. tidal water fishing license required by all on board. Early start times are beneficial when fishing for Salmon. 6,7&8 hour trips are all options. Each extra hour is $180.00. Fishing many locations longer boat rides are @ times required based on the Salmon present. A detailed/honest fish, weather & safety report is part of every trip for all guests. A daily plan is key to consistent results.

Located a short distance outside Downtown Vancouver. We can offer more fishing and less cruising to the prime fishing destinations...allowing you more opportunity to fish and bask in the amazing scenery. We want you to have the best experience you can and therefore we don't offer a set departure time and instead customize it around you and the fish to anticipate the prime 'BITE' of the day... The morning is always the best time. The departure time and duration can vary after we discuss the options.

Enjoy the spectacular west coast winter and spring fishery while taking advantage of our special seasonal rates. Go after west coast pacific salmon testing your skills against these hard-fighting fish. When in season, drop crab and prawn traps on the way out for some fresh Dungeness crab and Prawns! At the end of the day, the captain will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home. Book your adventure today!

This is a half-day trip taking you out first thing in the morning – or later if you prefer. You'll spend 5 hours on the water, going after prized Salmon species, that you can take home for a tasty treat. Please note, the charter price is for 2 people. One more can be added for an additional $125.

You'll stay close to home for the 4-hour charter. This allows more time to fish! Usually fishing within 10 mins from our dock. All tackle, bait, and ice are included. We have options to mooch or troll for Salmon. Chinooks are the most common catch, they range from 5 to 30 lbs but can be even bigger! BBQ on board for breakfast lunch or dinner! Additional hours are available and we can venture out a little further and cover more ground with more time.

Salmon fishing

We will be targeting Chinook(King) salmon and Coho(after June 1st) and other salmon species depending on time of year and what is open. Certain times of the year it's only catch and release for Chinook(King) so please confirm with the captain if Chinook(King) Salmon retention is an important consideration for you. We may also drop crab and/or prawn traps depending where we are fishing and time of year.
