Ninilchik Sockeye Salmon Fishing Charters

Great trip to get a mixed bag of tasty fish to take home and enjoy! The Captain will guide you to a spot where a Halibut limit can be achieved in a timely fashion in order to have ample time to target a limit of Salmon! All fishing equipment is included in the price. Please note that a King stamp and fishing license is required if you would like to keep your King catch.

Six hours of fishing will bring you even more fun and excitement! Starting at 7:00 a.m., you and the captain will have lots of fun exploring rich freshwater grounds for a number of prized species. Just bring some food and drinks as well as your licenses, and you'll be set to go.

Have the boat all to yourself and enjoy a day on the water chasing Halibut and either Salmon, Rockfish, or Pacific Cod! If you want Salmon have a King Salmon stamp. Your Captain can also tell you which other species has been most productive to go along with your tasty Halibut!

A 6-hour trip on the world-famous Kenai River or Kasilof River is a perfect choice for most anglers. You'll fish for Salmon and/or Trout on either river, depending on where the fish are and what's biting... Let us know if you have a specific species in mind, but we want to take you where the fish are, and we will!

June and July on the Kasilof River are primetime Sockeye Salmon season. Learn to catch fish on a fly rod while experiencing the beautiful river and wildlife.

Our guides are the best in making sure you get your limit. We will stay out until you get your limit. (Up to 8 hours) We clean and vac-pac your catch for you so you can just enjoy your vacation! River Trips will vary on the time of day to head to the river.

Half-Day Salmon Fishing Trip – Kenai or Kasilof River. Enjoy a 5-hour guided salmon fishing adventure on Alaska’s iconic Kenai or Kasilof River. This half-day trip is ideal for all experience levels—from first-timers to seasoned anglers—looking to hook into wild, hard-fighting Alaskan salmon. Just bring your fishing license, rain gear, warm socks, snacks, and a camera—everything else is taken care of. At the end of the trip, we’ll clean your catch so it’s ready for transport or cooking.

Sockeye fishing is permitted in the China Poot sockeye fishery. Fly fishing and snagging hooks are allowed in the saltwater inlet. Resident Alaskans can dip net above the sign. Departure times may vary depending on the tides. The limit is 6 sockeye per angler in the salt water and an additional 6 sockeye by dip net (dipnetting for Alaska residents only)
