Cedar Key Scallop Fishing Charters

If you're looking to fill your bag with tasty treats to reward yourself later in the day, this trip is for you. You'll head out after the many Scallops that are bountiful in this area. The captain will provide you with all the required equipment.

This is a scalloping charter for up to 6 anglers with all gear provided. You will need to bring your sunscreen, towels, drinks, and food.

During our half-day trips, we will go fishing the beautiful and amazing grass flats in cedar key that are known for producing legal size Speckled Trout and monster gator Trout. Also, we will patrol the oyster bars where you will find the amazing Cedar key Redfish where they are one of the healthiest fisheries in the big bend area.

Come join us for the underwater Easter egg hunt where Captain Jayson Porter and crew take guests to swim in shallow water grass flats in search of tasty bay Scallop. Scalloping season lasts from July through September 24. Once we get done, we will cool off in the refreshing springs of Kings Bay in Crystal. The excitement is not all about the catch – it's the hunt and the memories we make together that will last a lifetime. Let's make some memories together. We will see you on the water!

Please come enjoy the grassy flats and enjoy the underwater sea life in its natural habitat. Spend your time diving and finding scallops. We do Not provide snorkling gear due to all yhe different sizes of faces and sanitation. Please be prepared to bring your own gear and enjoy a fun filled day!

Come join us for an unforgettable experience found only on Florida's Nature Coast! Step aboard for a half-day of inshore fishing, then cool off in the shallow waters while snorkeling for fresh sea scallops. This unique combination of fishing and adventure makes for a truly memorable day on the water!

We will leave the dock at 8:00 a.m. and be back at approximately noon. We will be in 4-6 feet of water snorkeling for Scallops in crystal clear water. Equipment will be available, but please feel free to bring your own if you want. Bring your own drinks and snacks. There will be a cooler with ice on the boat. Bring a cooler with ice to take your Scallops home. This trip is seasonal.
