Tybee Island Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

This is an extended trip that lasts 6 hours that will see you fishing the South Carolina's artificial reefs. Depending on the time of the year you can catch a wide variety of fish. From May to October, you will be trolling for Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Blue Fish, Barracuda, and anchoring for Sharks and Mackerel. If you take a trip from November to April you can target Spottail Bass, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Black Seabass.

You will travel 5-10 miles off the coast of Hilton Head Island to catch a variety of fish including King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, and much more.

This trip allows you to venture up to 20 miles offshore, and also allow for inshore fishing as well. Depending on time lf the year, target fish are Bull Red Drum, Black Drum, Cobia, Grouper, Snapper, Seabass, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Sharks, King and Spanish Mackeral.

Captain Jay or Buddy will take you out to the nearshore reefs to target both King and Spanish Mackerel, Black Seabass, Black Drum, and many other reef fish that inhabit the nearshore area and its artificial reefs and wrecks.

Tailored to the intermediate-to-advanced angler, this 3/4 day trip allows anglers the time needed to travel to numerous locations and target multiple species. On this excursion, you’ll target inshore, nearshore, and reef species, and your fishing licenses, bait and tackle, ice, bottled water, and photographs of your adventure are all included.

On this trip, we get go offshore as far as the weather allows to get us to the artifical reefs and beyond. The sping allows us to target cobia, sheepshead, and black seabass. The summers give us hot water for king mackerel, spanish mackerel, the ocasional sailfish, cobia, and others. The fall gives way to big bull red drum and a plethora of other species. Nearshore/artificial reef trip. About a 1.5-hour ride to the fishing grounds from the dock. Family-fun fish with a better chance at keeper fish. Lots of action but keeper fish can be limited due to size regulations. Seasonal changes to species and techniques. Seasonal species include Black Sea Bass, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, Shark, Cobia, Triggerfish, Vermillion Snapper, etc.

We will mainly target Reds, Trout, and Flounder. Using Penn Rods and Reels, popping corks with live baits and / or artificials.

Full day exscursion, exploring and fishing georgias epic coastal waterway and wildlife.
