Chesapeake Beach Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

Join the Captain and his crew and fish the beautiful waters of the Chesapeake Bay. This is a great trip for any angler looking for a proper taste of Chesapeake Bay fishing. You will be targeting Bluefish, Striped Bass, White Perch and many other species.

This package is ideal for any angler looking to spend a full day fishing the Chesapeake Bay! Depending on the season, you will dedicate your time on the water to chasing Bluefish, Striped Bass, and Spanish Mackeral. The fishing gear is taken care of by Capt. Shawn, just bring any drinks and snacks you would like. Maryland Striped Bass season opens May 16th to July 16th, 2024. The Striped Bass season will be closed for July 16th, 2025 to July 31st, 2025. One Striped Bass Per Person

This trip can leave the dock at any time that suits you! Come aboard and fish the bay for Striped Bass, Spanish Mackerel, White Perch, and more. Top of the line gear and a fishing license are included.

Everyone can join this half-day fishing adventure. Spend your morning trolling mainly around the bay, for such wonderful specimens like Catfish, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and your Captain's specialty, Rockfish. Catch a few and have a great time doing it and be back by noon to tell everyone about it. The price includes the tip for the mate.

If you're an early riser, than opt for this half day trip. You'll be heading to the Bay at 6am, giving you plenty of time to troll for a wide variety of species, from Redfish to Black Drum to Spotted Seatrout, plus more. When lunchtime rolls around, you'll be treated to a gourmet meal cooked by your captain, at $25 per guest. Your fishing license and gear is included.

Capt. will provide your fishing equipment and a lunch package is also available at an additional price. You'll target Black Drum, Striped Bass (Rockfish), Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish. Keep in mind the captain launches from Edgewater, MD in June, July, Solomon's Island in August and September, and Chesapeake Beach the rest of the season. During this morning trip, you'll be targeting Striped Bass, Bluefish, Mackerel, White Perch, Spot, and Catfish. The crew will make sure your fishing equipment is ready for use and assist if it's your first time fishing. Learn something new with professionals by your side.

This is the most popular trip! We will target species based on what on the crews input and the species available to target. May-June Full day rockfish and speckled trout July-sept - Spanish mackerel , Bluefish, Rockfish, Red Drum and Cobia. Oct- Dec - Best time of year for striped bass action!

This is a one angler and guide trip. Great opportunity to “tune up” your casting and fly-fishing skills. You will be the only one fishing and have the boat to yourself. We will be fishing our Hewes 21 Redfisher. It is equipped with Garmin electronics (Hummingbird side scan coming this spring), a 300HP Yamaha and a Motor Guide trolling motor. Rod holders…GOT THEM!!! Room for 8 fly rods plus tons of storage. Bring you own equipment or use all our latest ORVIS rods.

This is a seasonal 6-hour trip that will put you on the bite of Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. Trolling is the name of the game, and if you want to switch it up and the weather is good, we can do some bottom fishing for Spot with occasional Perch and Croaker mixed in.
