Morehead City Spanish Mackerel Fishing Charters

This trip will take you fishing nearshore for Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. You could also try bottom fish on some nearshore reefs and wrecks. Your fishing license and equipment are covered, you only need to bring snacks and drinks for the day. Fish cleaning is also included.

Very basic and family-friendly. This trip stays within 5 miles of the beach targeting Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish. Certain times of the year will allow you to also target Atlantic Bonito, False Albacore, and King Mackerel.

Spend time fishing the inshore waters or go a few miles away from shore and do some trolling. You'll typically target Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Cobia, and many more. All fishing equipment is included in the price. Go inshore fishing with light tackle or go a few miles further and troll.

You will fish the nearshore waters of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina and chase Trout, Spanish, Bluefish, Black Drum, Flounder, Cobia, Spot, Sea Mullet, Bonito, Albacore, and Sheepshead.

We offer morning and afternoon times for half-day nearshore trips. From 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

8 hour trip departing 7am. Inshore, nearshore, rock jetties, wrecks and trolling depending on what the weather allows.

Enjoy a 4-hour trip, nearshore fishing. We will generally be within 1-3 miles from shore. Will be a mix of trolling and sight casting.

Enjoy beautiful coastal scenary while fishing for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, and False Albacore. You will have the possibilty of seeing Bottlenose Dolphin and wild horses. Fishing licenses and equipment are included. We ask that you bring snacks and drinks for the day.
