Narragansett Tautog Fishing Charters

We offer a limited number of blackfishing trips from October 20 to December 1. Besides blackfish, we catch seabass, scup, and cod on these trips. Most trips take place in Narragansett Bay in protected waters. Note: we do not pick up from Montauk.

If you'd like more time to experience the plentiful inshore waters of Narragansett, join Capt. Kelly for this 6 hour trip. It gives you plenty of time to get over to Block Island for the chance to reel in record-breaking Striped Bass, troll for Bluefish, or bottom fish for Fluke, Sea Bass, or Scup. Just talk with your captain, and let him know what you'd like to do! Your trip includes top-quality rods and reels, and a valid fishing license. The departure time is flexible.

This exciting offshore trip will take you fishing for the Giant North Atlantic Bluefin Tuna . You'll go up to 50 miles offshore chasing these 1000 pound fish. Fishing historical grounds on the outer Cape, such as Stellwagen National Marine Sanctuary or just East of Cape Cod National Seashore.

Explore the local nearshore and offshore spots to target to Striped Bass, Black Seabass, and many more. You only need to pack some food and drinks for the day. The captain will clean your catch, as well as providing your fishing gear and fishing licenses. A gratuity tip of 20% for the first mate is not included in the price.

Blackfish, also known locally as tautog, are hard fighting and excellent tasting bottom feeding fish. These fish are resident fish that spend the winter offshore in deep water, returning inshore from spring to late fall. Newport Rhode Island has some of the best fishing on the east coast. Fall Tautog and Black Sea Bass bottom fishing trip. This is an eight hour trip to either Newport or Block Island, depending on where the bite is the best. Crabs are supplied as well as tackle if needed.

This is just like the classic morning Block trip except we leave the dock at 12:00. This trip is great for those who would rather sleep in and do their fishing in the afternoon. The trip runs from 12:30 to 6:30.
