The Capt was ready and waiting for us. The boat was clean and in excellent condition. He was prepared with more bait than we needed for the day. The bait was live and in good condition. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. We caught Our target species Tautog plus Sea Bass, Porgy, and a Puffer Fish. The gear was high quality and in good working condition.
If time and life permit it I want to come back and target Bonito with him.

It was a rough weather day so Diego kept us in shore initially on a rock pile where we caught some tautog...plenty of shorts but also some keepers...then switched over to drift for sea bass and flounder. had non stop action for the last 2 hours...Diego is a knowledgeable captain, works hard, which made for a great trip.

We 3 buddies enjoyed a perfect fishing trip aboard the Spear-it! Captain Dave and mate Matt were helpful , knowledgeable, personable and got us to the best areas loaded with stripers and fluke where we caught lots of good fish. The trip was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The boat and equipment were excellent. Fish on 👍
