Duck Tilefish Fishing Charters

If you want to try your hand at both bottom fishing and trolling, join your captain on this 8-hour adventure! You'll typically be fishing nearshore for Tilefish, Seabass, possibly a Grouper, Amberjack, Shark, King Mackerel, and trolling species such as Mahi Mahi. You'll be provided with all the fishing gear you need for a productive trip, as well as a fishing license. Just bring along snacks and drinks, and make sure you wear weather-appropriate clothing.

This trip is our specialty. Fish deepwater wrecks (20 to 35 miles) and bottom for Tilefish Black Seabass, Snowy Grouper, Hake, and Amberjack. All fish is subject to federal seasonal regulations. Check for specie availability. This is not an inshore bottom trip offered by other boats. A productive trip to fill your coolers with delicious eating fish. This trip is strictly dependent on suitable weather conditions. In order to fish wrecks or bottom structures, light winds are a must.

This is the charter's most popular trip and it's offered daily. It will usually see you in the ocean, but close to shore. Typical targets on this trip are Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Ribbonfish, False Albacore, Cobia, Red Drum, and others. Catches vary daily, dependent upon weather, ocean conditions, and seasons. Half day trips are popular with families and kids, available every day. Common catch includes Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, Ribbonfish, False Albacore, Cobia, Red Drum, and assorted bottomfish.

On the trip you will head out to the Gulf Stream to troll for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo. On the way out you will search the weed lines and other structures for Cobia. You can bring along food and drink, which can be stored in the cooler on board. All rods and reels are provided.

This trip will take you after Spanish Mackerel, Drum, Cobia, and Shark. This nearshore trip is a great way for beginners to learn the basics and start catching trophies.

Enjoy 6 hours on the water with Captain Chris, You'll have lots of fun chasing Seabass, Cobia, Flounder, Tilefish, Grey Triggerfish, or many more species. The trip departs at 8:00 a.m. and includes all the fishing gear and licenses.

This trip typically is 15–35 miles from the inlet. This trip gives you the flexibility to target different species depending on the season and weather. You'll be fishing for Tilefish when in season, Amberjack, King Mackerel, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, and the occasional White Marlin or Sailfish. This is a great trip to target larger species without the pressure of a full-day offshore trip. Seasonal.

Sea Hag will be trolling for Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Gaffer and Bailer Mahi, Sailfish, White Marlin and Blue Marlin.

Leaving the docks at 4:30AM, returning at 3:30 PM with 11 hours of offshore fishing targeting Tuna, Tilefish, Mahi, Wahoo, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, and Sailfish. If you're looking for that trophy fish, this is the trip for you.

On full-day trips, we head out of Oregon Inlet, traveling 40–50 miles to the Gulfstream. From May to late September, target mahi, wahoo, black/yellowfin/bigeye tuna, white marlin, sailfish, and the legendary blue marlin. Trips may run slightly longer than 12 hours. All tackle is provided, and we don't leave until the box is full and our customers are smiling. Get ready for an unforgettable OBX fishing adventure!
