Virginia Tilefish Fishing Charters

This personalized trip will see you spend the whole working day going after whatever fish you want. The captain recommends mixing it up a bit and targeting a range of species, but Cobia and Flounder remain the most popular targets in these rich waters. Get ready to sight fish for Cobia and bottom fish for Flounder as you look to fill the boat with these delicious creatures and head home with a worthy reward after a long day at sea.

Head out to the deep water to do some bottoming fishing. Usually fish depths 250’ to 1500’ in search of Golden Tile,Blueline Tile,Black Seabass,Snowy Grouper,and others!

We will travel up to 60-70 miles in search of Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and Mahi-Mahi. This is a very popular trip due to the fact that at any time we can catch larger pelagic fish and fight multiple fish at the same time. Be prepared for a significant travel time to fishing grounds (2-3 hours)

On thisTwelve-hour trip you will get plenty of opportunity to land a great catch. You'll be targetting Tuna, Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, and even possibly Sailfish. Captain provides all the bait and tackle, so just bring food and drinks. Please tip your first mate at least 20%.

On these extended full day offshore trips, you target trophy Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, and Mahi up to 80 miles offshore. If requested, you can target bottom species which are delicious. The mate will work to set the lines and get you set up and once hooked up, he and the captain will talk you through the process until your trophy is in the box. Please bring refreshments and food to keep you going on this trip. The mate works hard and he'll be grateful for a customary 20% tip.

Offshore using a combination of trolling and deep dropping to maximize your experience depending on the time of year, conditions, and the your requested target species. These trips can produce Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi, Tilefish, Sharks, Swordfish, and more. You will use both manual and electric reels trolling and fishing the oceans depths!

Come join us in catching Swordfish! They are incredibly brutal fighters; they are extremely good to eat and are great trophy fish. Swordfish are extremely strong and are famous for taking brutal runs and dives. They are the Gladiators of the Ocean! Groups of 4

Full-day trip of trolling or bottom fishing as needed to fill the boxes

With this trip, we cover the open ocean to the Tuna grounds. Time includes travel time from and to the dock. Weather permitting this trip we will usually make the decision a day or two before the date of the trip

Weather is the biggest factor in fishing. If the weather is going to take an effect on the trip I will recommend changing. I want all clients to contact me the day prior so we can be clear about the weather situation. I would rather reschedule the trip than go out on a not so pleasant day
