Virginia Bluefin Tuna Fishing Charters

This is a very limited fishery with a very small sucess rate. We will only leave under favorable weather conditions and the presence of tuna in the area. Seasons and bag limit can change daily. This is a big game fishing experience with absolutely no guarantees. 4 PERSON MAX

We head out to the mouth of the bay and along the bridge tunnel in seach of cobia and big reds . This trip takes some patience to locate the fish, but when we find them its fas action!

This trip is an inshore excursion searching within 25 miles of the oceanfront for Bluefin Tuna. In years past we have caught these fish within 15 miles of the shoreline. They typically start showing up when the Humpback Whales make an appearance in November. We have caught several of these beautiful fish in the past ranging anywhere from 150 - 500 lbs. Large schools of 30-50 lb Striped Bass can sometimes be a nice catch on these trips. Check with the Captain or local fishing reports for best info.

Looking for BIG FISH? We will travel up to 70 miles in search of Tuna, Wahoo, Marlin, and Mahi-Mahi. This is a very popular trip due to the fact that at any time we can catch that trophy fish you're looking for and fight multiple fish at the same time. Bring your food and drinks, as the captain will provide everything else that's needed. Please tip your first mate at least 20%.

This trip departs out of Manteo, NC. The 9 hours includes travel to and from the fishing location and we will be nearshore off of the coast. A 6-person maximum for the trip. There will be a 20% gratuity for mate which included fish cleaning, and packaging. With this trip, we cover the open ocean to the Tuna grounds. Time includes travel time from and to the dock. Weather permitting this trip we will usually make the decision a day or two before the date of the trip
