South Africa Skipjack Tuna Fishing Charters

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Durban port while you make your way to the scattered reefs just outside the port entrance. The view of the Durban skyline from this position is absolutely spectacular! Dolphins are often seen frolicking around the bay. Get ready to target reef fish and bottom-dwellers, using light tackle for a bit of a challenge. Please note, this charter accommodates a maximum 8 anglers per trip. Fishing permits are required by law.

4 - max comfort/ 5 - max Head out past the magnificent Cape Point to the world-class Tuna grounds beyond. Target massive Yellowfin Tuna and other Tuna species like Longfin/Albacore, Bigeye, Skipjack, and Bonito, as well as Dorado/Mahi Mahi. En-route to the Tuna fishing grounds, there is also a good chance of catching Yellowtail Kingfish! We can accommodate up to 4 guests fishing but recommend 3 for the most comfort! Spearfishers bringing their own equipment can also be accommodated by prior arrangement.
