Techniques: Captain John loves to go and catch live bait for his customers so that they have a better chance of catching bigger fish. And it's also an experience for them to watch and help catch their own bait for the fishing trip for the day. The kids always love it when they drag the shrimp net and dolphins come up. The captain likes using live bait drift lining. Free lining with live bait is how you catch the bigger fish!

Hi Shawn, I had a great time fishing with you guys. It was so awesome that you had twins and I am a twin later on that afternoon I had twins on the boat as well that were boys and they were 16 years old so it was ironic twin day thanks for fishing with us we really enjoyed it and hope to see you guys again soon

We set out at 6 pm in the bay just to go catch some white trout. It was great! We caught around 10 keepers and even hooked a shark! Couldn’t keep him, but it was fun all the same. Nothing like fishing and drinking beer while watching the sunset over the bay!

We booked a the charter for 4 adults. The captain brought a dog and his daughter serving as deck hand. Although the dog was sweet the limited space in the boat made it more difficult. The daughter started off strong, but by the middle of the trip was laying on the floor of the boat making it difficult to step around her to fish or for the captain to help get the fish off the hook. I knew as soon as you all got on the boat that I couldn’t please any of you!. With that being said you cought plenty of fish. Just goes to show can’t make everyone happy no matter what you do! I started to just take you all back but I figured if you stared catching fish you would change. Guess not. Hope you enjoy your fish that you cought. 55 trout.

Our Captain was Travis. He had just relocated to Gulf Shores 4 days prior to our trip. He was a good guide and obviously experienced. His boat did not have a trolling motor on it. We used an anchor and due to waves and rollers my partner was the first mate handling the anchor, the Captain had to manage the boat motor. We managed to catch some fish but not what we could have had we had a trolling motor with spot lock.

Hi Tommy, I’m very sorry that your buddy had to throw the anchor. We have a trolling motor that is going to be put on the boat on Friday. Trolling motors have alot of issues, we just got it back from the shop not to long and that’s why it’s not on the boat. We are doing the best we can so that everyone can enjoy their fishing trips. I’m very sorry that your buddy had to throw the anchor. We have a trolling motor that is going to be put on the boat on Friday. Trolling motors have alot of issues, we just got it back from the shop not to long and that’s why it’s not on the boat. We are doing the best we can so that everyone can enjoy their fishing trips.
