I booked the 8hr fishing trip. I was quickly greeted by the Captain Gilbert and first mate Joel. These two are best of the best when it comes to fishing. They asked what we wanted to fish for. The trip was booked for my nephew as a high school graduation/birthday present. He wanted to catch a marlin. We ended up catching 2 marlin. We lost one after a short fight. We lost a wahoo midway through the fight and we had a big shark playing with one of the lines. This trip was action packed. There were 5 fishing charters that left the same morning as us and of the 5, we were the only ones to catch marlin. One other boat caught yellow fin but that was it. Joel was extremely nice, constantly offering snacks, food, drinks, and making sure we were ok. The captain managed the water like a true professional. I wish I could fish with this duo every time. They made our trip one to remember and to be honest we haven’t stopped talking about how good they were and how great of a time we had. I would book with them 10 times out of 10 without hesitation.

I really good 8 hour trip out of Cabo San Lucas for some near shore fishing on the Pacific side. Trolled for Wahoo a bit with no hits and transitioned into trolling for Roosters. Got three Roosters and a Jack Crevalle. Had a few unknown hits and a missed hook on a shark. Then we transitioned into trolling for Wahoo, Marlin, and Mahi. Bit of a slow afternoon with not much action other than three or four hits by Wahoo without taking the hook. We had 3 or 4 good spots on Marlin but they didn’t take the bait. Finished out the day with an awesome Wahoo catch and called it a day. Hard working Capt and crews never gave up and kept up the search getting us on a great fish to end the day.

Captain Gilbert and first mate Andres on Blue Tail are the professionals in their field. They provided A++++ service and a great fishing experience for us as first timers. We caught 4 Mahi’s, a shark, and a big marlin!! This was by far the best experience we’ve had. **hidden content**% recommend and we will be back to do again when we come back to Cabo! Reserve your fishing trip with them and you won’t be disappointed!!

Captain Juan and the mate Alex were both Very experienced and highly skilled fishermen. Alex spoke clear english which made the ebtire day much easier. I would recommend Blue Tale II to anyone who wants to have a great trip and catch alot of BIG fish! From start to finish, these fisherman were friendly and professional and VERY good at their trade. Caught 6 BIG mahi and a 9.5ft striped marlin!

We booked a 8 hr trip. Caught a skipjack about 10 mins in. Started trolling for Marlín and got hooked up on what we believe was a blue marlin about 30mins in. Ended up not landing that fish but later that day I caught a 8ft striped marlin. Ended up keeping the marlin. The crew was very helpful with the process of keeping the fish. We got to stop on the way out to see the arch and take pictures. We ended up seeing a bunch of dolphins and tunas jumping and feeding. Had plenty of water and drinks on board.
