Me, my wife and 2 daughters spent a full day with the Blue Tail team. They were fantastic. They ere friendly and very knowledgeable of where to fish. At first I was a bit concerned given we headed in a different direction than the other boats that morning. As we left the harbor They asked what we wanted to catch. We said a marlin and a wahoo. Within 6 hours we had caught a 9 foot striped marlin and a beautiful wahoo in addition to a couple of yellow fin tuna and some jacks. It was an incredible day. Thank you to the Blue Tail team! We will be back.

The group of 4 had a great time on our charter trip, everyone caught fish. The trip was very successful as we had 3 marlin take hits with a 96.25” hitting the boat, also had an above average trigger fish caught. We attempted for a grouper as we got to witness a strike and power of one of these fish but it was quick to the rocks and broke us off.

The pickup at our hotel and arrival at the marina was seamless and stress free. Not having to worry about licenses, bait, and food & drinks was a huge relief. The crew was amazing. We caught a marlin and a couple of mahi-mahi. There was a lull when we weren’t catching any fish (that’s fishing) which caused the crew to work even harder. We could tell that they truly wanted us to catch fish and enjoy our time. Seeing whales and sea lions was a nice bonus. I highly recommend this charter company.

We had such a great time with this crew! They let us play our music while cruising, answered any questions we had, and provided constant drinks, if needed. My word of advice to anyone taking this trip, do not drink too much tequila the night before because I was pretty much throwing up every hour. That is my own fault and I would still 100% recommend this charter to anyone. I caught big blue marlin. We also got to watch a school of mahi mahi chase after one we had hooked. It was awesome, thank you guys!

We were on the water for 7.5 hours. I figured i wasn’t going to catch anything 😒  Just chilling on the back of the boat. Then we spot a tail. The captain grabs a rod puts a live fish on it. After some direct from the first mate and myself. He gets the Marlin to bite. 1.5 hours later the 9 5 ft. Marlin is in the boat.
