Wear warm clothes, waterproof if you have them! It can get windy out there and the weather can turn, so wear sunscreen and bring layers! There's not a lot of room on the boat and turning back for the bathroom is hard, so prepare accordingly!

June is typically a great month for stripers. However, the unseasonably cold spring led to slower fishing. Look for warmer weather for a better shot at Stripers.

Four hours and 7 fish, 2 that got off at the boat. Not bad for September I’d say. Also, all good size fish. Smallest was 27in and biggest was 34in

Yvonne Merriam
Make sure you go before the waters cool & the stripers head to the Chesapeake to spawn. They'll put a bend in your rod & scream that drag!

Captain Eric will guide you on every aspect of fishing for mackerel bait and casting and retrieving. You DO NOT have to have any previous fishing experience.

Kevin Cooper
Great experience. The captain has everything under control so be ready to hang on. The big bass hit hard.

Book a morning trip to increase your odds and stay away from the heat. The ocean is rougher than you would think, keep that in mind if you have a weak stomach and if you have balance issues.

Book for a full day if you want to bring back your quota. It takes two hours to get to Jeffrey Ledge which is where you want to be.
