What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Gulfport, Mississippi for the first time?

We caught stuff and it was fun, but nothing we could keep so don’t go in with high hopes or rude attitudes

The bite was great, but the fish were all pretty small. It was a great time catching the fish, we just didn't get to keep many.

As with any time of the year, great fishing on the Coast depends a lot on the weather conditions. Some months better than others but there are always plenty of fish to catch.

It was hot. Take plenty of water and sun screen, but be prepared to catch some fish.
