Look up video’s for a reference about how to fish. Snapper or any other fish. Then ask the crew for advice. They will be glad to help, I am sure. Your success on on a fishing expedition is determined by how prepared you are. The captain and crew will do their part. Your part follows. Bring drinks, finger foods. Snacks, proper attire and sunscreen. The heat of the summer will test anybody. Need to hydrate profusely.

Hook up with Backyard Charters. CCptain Conner is honest and will not mislead you. If the bit is good or bad, he will be straight up. We got bit most all day, never a dull moment. Already planning another trip for some time in the fall.

Not sure because I’m not a fisherman per se just someone willing to spend the money to have a nice day out on the water, but it doesn’t seem like August is a great time for fishing in this area. We’re very lucky to have such a wonderful captain.

Captain Andrew is a great guide! Friendly and patient willing to teach or Let your own thing. He moves around to put you on the fish. He has a ton of experience and shares his knowledge along the way. I highly recommend this charter.

Be well prepared with Sun protection. Sun shirts, hats, sunglasses were all nice to have for our trip. If you think you might get seasick, and maybe even if you don’t, take Dramamine the night before.

Due to the high winds, we wasn't able to go Snapper fishing but Captain Brandon and Brandon made sure we caught fish. Highly recommend Shearwater. This was our 5th trip and we are planning a 6th trip with Captain Brandon and the Shearwater...

Offshore in a boat this small is not for a newbie. We had two newbie friends with us and they are proud of the bragging rights they earned. Definitely a trip for fishermen who will brave rough conditions to get the best memories and fish.
If ins one. You will have many tales to tell.
PS- one of our newbies caught the biggest Red Snapper

Please book with these guys! They won’t let you down! They got us what we wanted when we wanted it!

Greg Jones
Absolutely the captain and his mate were awesome and the boat was excellent. My girlfriend was able to take a nap in the cabin with the air conditioning going. Everybody was happy.

Ralph Bird
Pick a good guide and unless your going after a specific species let them help you figure out what to go after!

Denise Woodard
Be patient, when we finally hit the fish (Mackerel) we were pulling them in the boat as fast as we could get our lines in the water.

Eddie High
Don't book more than a 4 hour trip unless you've been on a boat before. May might be best weather wise and the water should be warmer with a faster bite.

Elizabeth Vaughn
Our only expectation going in was hoping our teenage son would have a great time and catch a few fish and he accomplished both!

Chris Hurbis
It can be cold in February even on the Ms Gulf Coast bring appropriate fishing clothing and you will be fine. My target was sheepshead and the Capt put me on them.

Jonathan Cox
As long as the captain and crew are decent folks to help new comers with knowledge sharing their experience like we had, I can’t imagine even having a rough time at all. It was a blast!

Jaime Lane
There are probably better times of the year to fish in Biloxi than the day after Christmas, but we had an awesome time.

Joseph Gant
You might need long pants and light jacket early in October but it warmed up and was beautiful later in the day.
Be mindful of weather and dress accordingly.

Ben Butterfield
I think the Gulf Coast has amazing fishing, Especially if you’re on the water, you’re always gonna reel something up.

Huelon Barnett
Just book your trip with Reel Therapy Fishing and enjoy. Remember the Captain knows more than you so listen to him and have a great time.

Jason Tschida
Yes! Great guidance from the captain (Andrew). He knew exactly where the fish were, and we caught fish on the first cast in every location we went to.

Beverly Graves
Drink a lot of water and wear sunscreen. Listen to the captain and the experience will be very good

Dan Churchill
Find a great captain. Bring plenty of sunscreen and water. Be ready for a warm day! Be ready to reel in plenty of fish!

Mandy Ash
If it’s very hot for the day, I would follow the recommendation of the Captain and go out earlier in the morning so you have a better chance to catch fish.

Stacy Vettling-moy
We were a little early in March for the best fishing but Brandon still got us fish. He is the best!

Richard Collier
Absolutely, caught a lot of white trout. Just being out with the was a great catch of time for memories.

Charles Boone
What you catch and where you will fish is heavily dependent upon the day's weather, recent weather patterns, and tides.

Sheree Miller
Dress appropriately, wear sunglasses, cap or visor. Use the restroom before you head out. Text Captain Andy if any questions, he answers every time and fairly quickly.

Brian Humphries
We have done a trip in both March and October. You will probably catch a few more fish in the Spring Time (March).

Keith Neff
You are going to have to confirm with the captain that your doing the fishing. All the captain and mate are doing is baiting and watch ING you fish. Not you watching them fish

You don't have to go far to find the fish. Didn't seem like you could go wrong - short or long trip..
