Beautiful weather today and some nice Halibut around making for a great day on the Juan. Great guests and a trap full of large crab was a bonus.

Lots of action on the rods tofay and some beautiful (chinook) Kings landed and retained to round out our guest’s limits.

Chinook Salmon fishing has been phenomenal. We didnt even have time to set our second rod before the first fish hit today! AND…..it was a dandy!!! Woth this warm up nice sea conditions, tons of bait and lots of good size fish around we capitalizing on every trio and ensuring our guests get their action and limit of nice Chinook (king) Salmon. Dont hesitate to book a trip and rest assured you’ll be comfortable on board our fully enclosed heated cabin departing from our private dock! LETSGO!

No shortage of action on the rods this past two days winter fishing for chinook salmon here in Sooke. Seeing lots of larger size fish showing up. Guests went home with their two day posession limits. Go for King Tide ?

Beautiful evening and incredible shnset on the Juan today. Orcas were breaching off shore as the sun was setting and moments later hokked a nice 12lb chinook that peeled line and gave a hard fight rounding out a perfect winter evening
