We headed to the "Veintiséis" spot for some quality bottom fishing action. Our guest angler noticed a cool difference: the Almaco Jacks (Hojarán) here might be a bit more compact than their Florida cousins, but pound for pound, they still put up one heck of a fight! To top off the morning, we landed three beautiful Yellowfin Snappers. These are pure gold for the kitchen—fresh, delicious, and ready for a world-class recipe tonight. There’s no better feeling than heading back to the pier after a hot, successful day on the Pacific Blue. OFFSHORE MAGIC: The Ultimate Challenge on Fly! We decided to switch things up today. A later start and a much more refined goal: Fly Fishing for Sails. Elements of patience, timing, and precision came together for an unforgettable session. There’s nothing like the sight of a massive Sailfish focused on the teaser, locked in on its target, and refusing everything but the perfect presentation. When they get that "tunnel vision," you have to be flawless. Despite the high technical difficulty and a shorter window of time, we managed to raise 4 beautiful sails and successfully released 2 on the fly. A masterclass in sport fishing that left everyone with a huge smile. This is what it’s all about!
