January was a really fantastic month for fishing, with a lot of great action across the board. We saw some awesome catches of snapper, with plenty of nice-sized ones coming in. Mackerel were super active and biting consistently, making for some thrilling moments on the water. For those looking for a bigger challenge, sharks were definitely around, providing some exciting battles. Offshore, wahoo made some impressive appearances, and closer to shore, both trout and jacks were lively, keeping anglers busy. Overall, it was a really productive and fun month for fishing. We're expecting similar conditions and opportunities as we head into February, and don't forget, tarpon season is just around the corner, so it's a perfect time to start planning for that!
