Brandon brought his family out for an afternoon of fishing on the lake. The White Bass were biting good as well as some Crappie and Catfish. All fish were caught on jigging spoons from RSR Lures. We catch a wide variety of fish on these baits almost every trip. The fish were holding in the edges of large flats in about 20 to 24 feet of water. The water temperature is in the mid 70's and the clarity is currently very poor. The lake is at or close to normal pool level with all boat ramps open. The City of Grapevine is doing a marvelous job of repairing and renovation of the facilities of all the parks they control. The cooler weather is a perfect opportunity to enjoy this gorgeous lake!.
