Great crew from Tampa, Florida

Trip Summary

Yesterday we had a great group join us from Tampa, Florida. After a rough ride out as a front passed thru, we were greeted with picture perfect condition. The water was crystal clear and there was bait and birds everywhere without another boat in sight. The few previous days the bite was late in the day, but we felt good about what we were seeing. We had fairly steady bites thru the day, but the fish were lazy. We stayed within a 3 mile radius all day knowing it didn’t make sense to leave what we had found and marking fish. We were hanging our hats on that late bite. We ended the day doing pretty well. We raised a Marlin, released two sails on four bites, and added a Mahi for dinner. We did see a big Mahi, but I think these fish were stuffed on the red sardines that filled the area. All in all, it was a great day on the water with a fantastic crew.
