Trip Summary
Trip Summary
This is a composite report from the last couple of weeks. I haven't been able to keep up with the reporting because I've been gone every day kingfishing. The bite on the inshore reefs off of St. Augustine has been nothing short of phenomenal with limits of between 6 and 10 fish the norm with a couple of cobia and bonita thrown in on almost every trip. The offshore kings have been between 8 and 25 pounds with most in the low teens. The cobia have been mostly short (under the min of 33 inches) but with some good ones as well. We had a 12 foot hammerhead up to the boat last week trying to eat anything/everything we caught and on another day we lost a cobia and a bonita to a big tiger. The 'cuda's are always trying to steal your kingfish as well. It's been fun to watch. The pictures tell the tale. See you on the pond. Capt. Guy
