Ran way up salt water creek and fished the oyster bars with live shrimp n fiddler crabs. Not on fire but we managed 12-15 reds, 6-7 trout, 4 stingrays, 4 bonnethead sharks, a blacktip shark and a sheepshead. The boys (and adults) had a blast.

We boxed 8 vermillion snapper, 6 big lane snapper, a very large porgy, an almaco jack, 2/3 of a big little tunnyand a couple blue runners. We released over 50 red snapper (season closed) 10-15 small blue runners, untold amount of grunts and had bull sharks take a bunch of different kinds of fish. All in all a fantastic day.

Live bait has been hard to come by the last few days so we went “Old School” this morning pulling bonita strip baits and planers with spoons. Yes, I still remember how. ?
