Trip Summary

Another Epic day for one of my regular customers. We landed 24 Blue cats and 2 Channel cats in a 7 hour trip. Most fish averaged 10-25 lbs. The Catfish bite is on fire right now and will be thru the end of May.

Fun trip with crappie, white perch and catfish boated during the morning. Nothing big on today's trip but we sure did boat a lot of fish and had a lot of fun. I was even able to clean a few for my customers so they could try some crappie & catfish for dinner for the 1st time - which they absolutely loved per their text message later that night.

July is not usually a month to catch SLAB Crappie but we sure did today. We had some monster Lake Wylie Crappie & Perch plus enough Bass to win most Bass tournaments. It was HOT but we sure did catch some nice fish this morning.

The morning started out slow but patience paid off, as the afternoon bite picked up and we caught and released 3 Nice Flat Head Catfish plus numerous blue catfish. One of the flat heads weighed over 30 lbs and was landed by a 12 year old angler after a tremendous fight. We also boated a ton of perch, crappie and spotted bass during the trip.
