We had an incredible experience on our recent 8-hour shark fishing charter! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. I’ve tried several different charters from Casco bay to Saco, Capt. Eric and GQ charters were the best by far. He is extremely knowledgeable about the local waters, got us out fishing right away, and supplied us with all the information we needed to have a great day. He’s also just a blast to talk to. My family of 5 including 3 young adult sons had a spectacular time with Capt Erik.  He was clear in rules of safety before we got under way and was very accommodating with teaching us how to use the equipment to ensure we had a successful trip.  We caught 8 fish between the 5 of us thanks to Capt Erik’s knowledge and expertise on knowing where the fish were.  I would definitely recommend booking a charter with GQ.

Eric is a real expert and knows what he is doing! This was a highlight of our Maine trip and we had stripers for dinner a few nights after, plus to bring back. We went on a good day and caught many stripers, including a huge 41” fish and even my partner who has never fished before got a 40” one (releasing these of course). Eric helped us get amazing photos and to fillet the fish afterwards.
