What a great experience. Barely got the lines in and we already had fish on!! They kept coming the whole trip with barely any time to rest. Capt. Messing was great with the kids, being patient and encouraging them while also teaching them in the process. We hit our limit and was able to enjoy them for dinner a couple of hours later. Thanks for the memories!

Our charter started off meeting Matt at the end of the pier. There was a large sign out which made it incredibly easy to know where to go. The boar is in a covered location so it was comfortable and easy getting inside- especially for someone as accident prone as I am. We were able to catch 8 salmon in total- but would have limited out if we lose so many (our skill issue). We booked this charter hoping to give our boys a fun, memorable fishing trip—and it absolutely delivered. The weather was perfect, with calm waters, a gorgeous view of the Seattle coastline, and even sightings of porpoises, jumping salmon, and sea hawks. Our guide worked hard to get us on fish, and he did—1 coho and 10 pink salmon (plus a king salmon we released because it was out of season). Matt’s always a great guide to go fishing with no matter what the end result. Didn’t catch any Lings today, but had a great adventure. Highlights: epic weather, good conversations, good company, beautiful views and more! Future guests should always prepare for any weather conditions (rain, wind, waves, sun) and to remember this phrase “fishing is fishing - nothing is ever guaranteed.” Just enjoy your trip!

Started slow, then kept finding Kings we couldnt keep along with a ton of other boats trying to do the same thing.  Moved up to another spot with less boats and got our Coho’s.  Wish we could have hit our limit, but thats fishing.
