Had a really nice day woth my grandson on Prime on 22 July 2025. Great crew, superb boat and quality gear. We had a fantastic fishing trip on the boat Prime. Captain Simon explained everything to us first, and then we headed out to sea. At first, it looked like the fish weren’t biting. But after about 2.5 hours, our patience was rewarded, and a tuna weighing around 75 kg took the bait. Suddenly, there was a lot of action on board, and after about an hour, we were able to land the tuna in the boat! An amazing experience!

Had a great day out trolling onboard Prime. It’s a fantastic boat with the best of kit. I was well looked after by Simon and Alfonso, with good chat and a cracking lunch provided by Simon’s wife. We hooked up to one fish but unfortunately didn’t land it but that is always a possibility when trolling for big fish; it’s never a guarantee. I wouldn’t hesitate to book up with them again next time I’m in Madeira and would recommend them to anyone considering a trip out from Calheta.
