We had an awesome trip on the El Budster Pride with Captain Luis and first mate Ismael—this was our second trip with this crew, and they did not disappoint.

We started the day targeting yellowfin tuna. My son caught the first fish of the day, a bonita, and was fired up. My wife then landed the first and only yellowfin of the trip, which we estimated at 50–60 pounds.

After that, we headed in closer to shore to fish for striped marlin off the reef, and it was incredible. As soon as we arrived, marlin were everywhere. We hooked five, brought three to the boat, and should have had a fourth if another boat hadn’t accidentally cut us off.

Captain Luis and Ismael are dedicated, professional, and genuinely enthusiastic about what they do. Their energy and knowledge made the trip even better.

We highly recommend this crew and can’t wait to come back again.

Captain Luis and his first mate Luis were amazing!  Worked super hard to make sure the experience was great.  They had 3-5 lines in at all times.  Caught a large Wahoo, a small mahi mahi, a nice striped Marlin and even a shark!!! They helped us take pictures, get the fish cleaned and provided 5 star service throughout.  Will definitely be booking with the El Budster Pride again!!!  Thanks Guys!!!

Had an amazing time on the El Budster Pride. The mate and captain were so friendly and put us on fish right out the marina. Even ended up catching a large Striped Marlin and they had it all set up for us for taxidermy before we even arrived back to dock. Would highly recommend this boat and crew if you’re looking to have a great fishing experience!!

We booked the boat with Captain Luis based on recommendation from my coworker who caught a large blue marlin on his trip. We really enjoyed the trip as we each caught a blue marlin before the captain took us to get some smaller better eating fish. At the end, we caught close to 50 skip jacks, white fish, and trigger fish, and walked aways with lots of memories and more than enough fish for our entire stay at Cabo. I would recommend them to anyone looking for the experience of a life time.

We had a really cool time on the El Budster Charter – it’s a family-run business, which made it feel nice and chill. Captain Luis is super experienced and got us on a big Wahoo right in the first hour. The Shimano reels and gear were solid, made it easy to reel in the fish without any hassle. Captain Salvador was awesome with talking to us and even helped sort out a weekly fishing license super quick.

Capt Luis was chatting with other boats and got us right into the tuna spot where birds and dolphins were going crazy on the baitfish. We caught a couple decent yellowfin tuna and some bonita – it was fun watching the tuna jump out of the water chasing stuff. Had a great day fishing with my 9-year-old boy, it’s good for kids. Totally recommend it!
