My son and I had an awesome time on the Black Marlin. The captain and his first mate were first rate! We were caught a striped marlin early in the day and a Mahi Mahi as well. Also lots of smaller skip jacks to keep you busy (which were thrown back) Tried bottom fishing after trolling died down and weren’t successful at that. But we went back to trolling and caught TWO more Mahi Mahi. I had a big Marlin on my line as well which wassnapped by the fish. Exciting day and I’d go again.

Crew worked consistently to to find and hook fish. Hunted fish after spotting them with good success. I appreciated the effort they put into the trip. Jose was patient with the varying levels of expertise we had on the boat. Boat was clean and organized, no clutter.
I fished on three different boats while there and this was the favorite trip. I will fish with them again on my next trip to Cabo.

Great full day fishing trip November 3rd 2023 on the Black Marlin. Capt. Manuel and Orlando very knowledgeable and experienced when it comes to going after the Marlin. When Capt. Manuel spotted Striped Marlin out front of the boat and Orlando immediately ran to the bow with pole and bait fish in hand and boom FISH ON! after which Orlando high stepped back down the other side of the boat and transferred pole off to me and the battle was on. These guys know how to hunt Marlin. Amazing trip, Black Marlin very clean and comfortable. I’m definitely going back to the Black Marlin. Thank you for a great memory Capt. Manuel and Orlando! Nothing but great things to say about about black Marlin sport fishing. Captain Manuel and his first mate Jose are top notch. Me and my fiancé told them we wanted marlin and they delivered. We doubled up multiple times! All together we boated 7 striped Marlin and easily had on 12+. It was so action packed we couldn’t keep track of how many we had on! Manual and Jose used multiple techniques to keep us always fighting fish. High quality equipment and a higher quality crew. We can’t wait to come back and fish with Black Marlin! An incredible full day trip with my father in law and myself! Manuel and Junior were incredible… Very kind, gracious and professional. Manuel Jr ran all of the fishing gear while his dad drove the boat and this young man was great… His dad should be very proud! My father in-law had been on fishing trips before and never caught a thing. We were able to catch 10 dorado (mahi) and 3 nice yellow fin in addition to a few others. The crew tried hard to get us a marlin but were unable. Thank you Manuel and son for an incredible trip. I can’t recommend them highly enough and would love to go out again with them sometime!
