Trip started at 6am, by 6:30 we were hooked with Mahi mahi, around 7:30am spotted marlin, by 7:35am we were hooked on a marlin! The fight took about 45 minutes, the crew was on it, they had the boat following this fish, landed the fish onto the boat with no hassle, 10 minutes later, another marlin !!!!!! This one took about 25 minutes to reel up, once again crew was ON it, no tangles, no issues. Decided to come in a little early, got our Mahi mahi sashimi and cooked right at marina, THE best meal we had ! Worth it !!!  Definitely going out with Caesar again

The captain and crew worked hard to put us on the fish. We ended up catching some sierra mackerel, jacks and a bucket list fish of mine, rooster fish. At the end of the trip, the captain recommended a local restaurant that took our catch and cooked it up for us. Overall it was an amazing experience and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a productive day on the water.

Had an awesome time out today with Captain Cesar and BlueSea.  We hooked a Mahi Mahi within 1/2 an hour and hooked a marlin a couple of hours later.  Great fun reeling those in.  I’d like to say I did all the work.  But at this time of year it’s hard to get either of those.  Captain Cesar knew what to do though to get them on the line. So big thanks to him and his first mate.

Communication between Capt Johnny Sanchez and I was great leading up to the trip. He set expectations very well. We used Capt Caesar (I think, I’m terrible with names), and he was accommodating. We went out and hooked one blue marlin who spit the hook. No problems it happens. Then a little while later we hooked up with a BIG blue. Was an awesome fight and the Capt definitely knew how to maneuver the boat to get us in position! After a long fight we got him to the side of the boat and unfortunately missed the gaff shot. I will say though that fight was worth the whole day. We spent the rest of the day not catching much but I’m pretty sure not many boats were. But we did see a 20 man pod of dolphins and then about 6-8 killer whales that the captain kindly maneuvered near so my girlfriend could take pictures she loved it. Lastly, he took us to the arch for pictures which was awesome.
Only cons were the boat broke down for about 30 minutes which he eventually fixed. And also be prepared to pay $20 per person for license and $40 for bait. Not something I predicted but still worth the trip.

Thank you Johnny for everything ! We had a great day with Captain Cesar and first mate Ronaldo ! They had us catching fish very quickly and we limited out on Mahi Mahi and also caught a large striped marlin. The Captain was very knowledgeable and seemed to know the right spot to catch fish. If and when I am back in Cabo will certainly book another trip with them.
