I was very nervous about this trip as it was just me and my two sons, age 6 and 10. Immediately there was no reason to be. We hopped right on, took a nice ride out to a couple spots and quickly hit our max in Vermillion Snapper. Followed that up with trolling for Spanish Mackerel. We had a BLAST! Captian Joe and Dusty were both helpful and knowledgeable. We got the safety run down and headed out to the beautiful glGulf of America. Dusty was very clear on instructions on how we should be fishing.  We got to our spot and got on fish immediately, then the sharks showed up. Captian took us to another spot and got us going right along again. Dusty helped our less experienced fisherwomen get hooked up and catch fish. Had a good time with me and a few of my friends. Caught some fish that I have never caught before, and I have been on the ocean most of my life. The captain and deck hand we’re both on it with everything. Overall great experience. looking forward to booking with them next year.

My wife, grandson and I took this fishing trip in June 2026. We caught lots of fish and really enjoyed the six-hour fishing trip!!!!! The Captain and the mate were very friendly and took care of all our needs. The price was very reasonable when compared to similar fishing trips.

This was our 3rd charter with Long Shot! This time we brought my Daddy to celebrate his 75th birthday. Joe did a great job putting us on the fish!
