This fishing trip was so exciting! We took a 2 hour tour.  I asked Joey to put us on some fish, and he did it!! We caught snappers, jacks and a 40lb nurse shark. Safely released the shark. We chose not to keep and clean any of the fish. He took us to the mangroves at the last stop and that’s when it got crazy!!! I had a tarpon hit my line, he smoked my bait and line so quickly. I booked this charter for my son’s first fishing trip. I wasn’t sure how he was going to like it, but it could not have been a more perfect day. The captain, Joe, did everything he could to make my son and I have a good time. We caught a lot of little fish for the kid and Daddy got hooked up on a shark! Booked a half day with captain Joey. He’s a great guide. Super cool, friendly and very knowledgeable. He put us on fish right away. He made sure my family and I always had bait on our hooks and we went through a lot! We caught a lot of mangrove snappers. Kept 10 for grandma, threw a bunch more back and had one stolen by a big cuda. We also caught some Jacks and even a spiney lobster. So cool! Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer trip!!! 2 hour trip was perfect for catching some fish for dinner. Plenty of yellowtail. Captain Joe is great, and makes it a fun time for amateur anglers.
