I highly recommend Akihiro hands down very precise fisherman and very knowledgeable on gear and the area. very friendly and out going and works hard to get you hooked up. I am an experienced fisherman and have been out on a bunch of deep sea trolling charters. I was looking for something different and more hands on. If you are looking for a jigging charter this is your best option. Went out by myself with the captain. He did a great job explaining how to jig. My buddy and I fish all over the US, from Florida keys to California and all the way to Hawaii. I wouldn’t say we are experts, but we have high standards. Captain Akihiro is very hardcore and technical, he would want to teach you and get things done properly like a pro. Trip is 100% jogging oriented, no trolling, or baits, just with metal jigs. I had an amazing experience on this jigging trip. The captain is very experienced and knew exactly where to find the fish. I was really lucky that day - I had a very high hook-up rate. Although I lost two fish due to the hook coming off and had five break off after hooking. I still ended up landing seven fish. Overall, it was an unforgettable and thrilling fishing trip. Highly recommend it.

Despite the bad luck from the begging, the Captain just kept the good attitude and positive mind, and kept going! We finally get some fish and everyone enjoyed the fight.
