Aloha Brian, sorry you didn’t enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, there’s a couple days throughout the year where the fishing just isn’t very good and today was one of those days, the other five people in your group seem to have an excellent time on the boat and had a great time interacting with us, checking out the dolphins, seeing sharks and just having a great time despite the fishing being slow, even making future plans to come out again without you . If you had come out of the cabin and interacted with us, I’m sure you would’ve enjoyed the trip a little bit more as well. I know that doesn’t make up for the slow fishing and as much as I hate the saying “its called fishing” there is a couple days throughout the year that the fish don’t cooperate. It has nothing to do with trying things different as we went to many different locations and changed techniques several times, but with a half-day trips were really limited as to where we can go and what we can do as I explained to you prior to coming on the boat when I recommended the full day for this time of year. As far as the three star rating for our equipment, there’s no better equipment than what we have on the boat, the very top-of-the-line, custom-made rods, shimano reels, the best line, lures, everything is perfect, and the best you can buy as far as our equipment. Again, I’m sorry the fishing was slow, but at least everyone else in your group had a great time despite not catching fish and would’ve left a positive review had been the one to book the trip .
