This was our 3rd time fishing with Captain Mike out of Wanchese Harbor. We started out in Pirates Cove. We had some new anglers on board and they were quickly brought up to speed on the basics. The fish were biting ok, everyone saw at least some action and it was shaping up to be another nice morning. We didn’t catch many fish, but it was an excellent trip. He moved to several spots and the fish just weren’t cooperating. Mike was very personable and informative. We had young, old, and some inexperienced anglers in our family group and everyone had a great time. His boat even had a small step, which was beyond helpful when bringing our handicapped, elderly father. What a beautiful evening! I am so happy we not only had a beautiful sunset but caught some fish too! That monster got away but I’ll never forget spending such an incredible afternoon with Lily, Kathy, Eddie, you and Nelson, Amy. Thanks so very much for booking with me and your generosity. While on vacation in Outer Banks, we decided we wanted to do a fishing trip. Captain Mike answered me promptly about the fishing for the week and we were able to book a trip for Thursday. He sent all the information we needed before hand and was ready for our trip at 7am.
