Had an awesome day being my first time out   ocean fishing. Crew was very friendly, accommodating and patient. Captain tried to get us on bigger fish while trolling but took the hand mother nature dealt us. Between the mackerel and blue fish caught was 30 pounds total, it’s better than being skunked. This was our second year going out on the Salt Grit and both years have been wonderful! We caught about 10 fish and are looking forward to a Sea Bass and assorted fish dinner tonight. We are a family of 4 and they were great for my preteen and teenager (the serious fisherman). The boat is very comfortable with covered seating. Just bring your food, drinks, sunscreen, and a good attitude. We hope you enjoy it ad much as we did!

Rough conditions slowed us down initially, but the captain was persistent and patient. It was fast paced once we got on the fish, we frequently had doubles hooked up and came home with over 100 lbs of bluefish.

Myself, my kiddos my hubby and my FIL had a great time on this trip. We caught lots of fish, the mate was relatable and conversative and .very helpful. Blues, albacore and mackerel caught by all.

The weather was less than ideal,  and we still got on a good bit of blue fish and had a blast. The crew got us where we needed to be keep everything running smoothly. Highly recommend!
