We have two young boys and captain Shawn was amazing with them! Highly recommended!!
Have done other fishing charters on the Gulf Coast many times on vacation, Shawn is definitely in a class of his own. Knows all the good spots knows all the good techniques. Will gladly teach you those techniques. We ended up catching seven fish, kept five. I got to catch a massive drum and was definitely a very good experience, definitely would recommend for others!
Captain Shawn did an amazing job in getting us to the right spots to catch fish. We also caught a stingray and a crab in the process. We took the 6:30 a.m. trip and the weather was very nice. We caught 11 gafftopsail catfish. Captain Shawn has over 35 years of experience and he definitely proved it!
Shaun did a fantastic job on our fishing trip. He was extremely friendly, curious, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great experience. He shared helpful tips, kept things fun and relaxed, and worked hard the entire time to put us on fish. Thanks to his guidance, we ended up catching 11โ12 fish, which made the trip a huge success. We had a great time on our charter with Captain Shawn from Bama Bandit Sport Fishing.ย We opted for the inshore charter with our 13 and 9 year old joining us, so Captain Shawn took us to his spots along the channel.ย We had a lot of bites and were able to bring in enough fish to cook up a meal for four that night. Shawn was great with the boys, showing them how to cast and giving them feedback during and following a catch (or โone that got awayโ) so they could learn something and move forward with some better techniques. We also managed to catch a few catfish for good measure. All in all, we had a great family outing and Shawn was a good fit for us as our captain.

We had a blast!! We were catching them left and right! We even caught a baby shark that we of course released! Our guide was knowledgeable and a good guy.. he really placed an emphasis on cleanliness and organization, which I could highly understand. He had a great boat and some great gear and all we did was catch fish! He took pictures, shared stories, and even took the time to actually teach our youngest member proper techniques and I really had a ton of respect for him for that! Would definitely do it again, especially in another season of the year where we could potentially catch a few other species! Great experience.
