Great time with knowledgeable and personable captain
We had so much fun on our half day charter with Captain Bruce. We caught 15 yellow tail snappers and two black fin tuna. Captain Bruce offered to clean and filet the fish when we got back to the dock, and offered helpful tips on how to ship it home. He also gave plenty of advice on catching the fish during our charter. Perfect for advanced fishermen or beginners!
From the minute we got on board the boat, until we were done receiving our cleaned catch. Captain Bruce was a professional captain. He explained what our options were for the day and delivered on our choices. He answered all questions and was right there for all needs. Our catch was 21 keeper yellowtail snapper and 9 keeper bluefin tuna on a 4 hour morning trip. And at the end of the trip while he was cleaning the fish at the dock. There was a manatee, many tarpon, pelicans and 3 nurse sharks.

He is easy to work with and to talk to. We caught beautiful Mutton Snappers and an Almaco Jack. My wife, daughter and I had a great day fishing offshore with Captain Bruce! He is very patient and takes the time to explain everything to you. We told him when we first booked the trip what species we really wanted to catch. Tuna and Mahi were the top two.ย Captain Bruce had us on the Tuna as soon as we threw the lines in the water! We caught what we wanted for Tuna and then went looking for the Mahi. Unfortunately,ย they were nowhere to be found, but thatโs fishing. We all decided to go after some Yellowtail, which we found. We caught a bunch of Yellowtail to bring home and then there were all the ones we got to fight, but lost to a group of sharks. Once we got back to the marina, Captain Bruce cleaned and bagged all the fish for us to take home. We highly recommend Captain Bruce and Easy Does it Islamorada charters if you want a great day on the water and alot of fish!!
