Capt. Mike has been fishing since he was 4 years old, and has been a charter operator for over 30 years. He works alongside a crew of professional fishermen and first mates who love fishing and helping guests reel in their dream catch. They will celebrate the excitement of your catch with you, and make you feel like a part of the family!

Sunrise Charters is operated by Captain Marcelino De Jesus, a fourth-generation Aruban fisherman. He is always looking forward to showing his guests the very best of what Aruba’s famous fishing grounds have to offer.

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 27’ Triton center console. There’s enough room for 4 guests to fish at the same time, and fishing equipment is provided for everybody. The boat is powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engines, and equipped with all the necessary navigational and safety gear.

The crew specializes in offshore fishing, providing both trolling and bottom fishing adventures depending on their customers’ wishes. They will supply you with both light and heavy tackle, and will generally target fish such as White and Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Amberjack, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Barracuda, Snappers, and Groupers. With the captains also being passionate cooks, they will share the catch with you, clean it, and give you some tips for making the most out of your freshly caught bounty.
