The weather is pleasant and so is the fishing. Blue and White Marlin are terrific on the northern or eastern sides of the island. Speedy Wahoo are also ready to be reeled in.

February

The wind is at its strongest, which brings the windsurfers out. Enjoy the mild weather and troll for Wahoo while the bite is still hot. Further offshore, hunt for Blue and White Marlin.

March

The start of spring brings on the fly fishing season! Head out to the flats in search of juvenile Tarpon and Bonefish. Fishing for Blue and White Marlin offshore is red hot.

April

It's low season, making it a great time to visit if you want to avoid the crowds. Wahoo and Red Snapper fishing is almost as fantastic as chasing White and Blue Marlin is. This is also the time to hook Tarpon on the fly.

May

As the temperatures heat up, the Tarpon become incredibly active and acrobatic. Now is the time to break some personal records!

June

It's hot out there and will be for the next few months. There's no better way to cool off than by heading out on the water! Target Tarpon inshore and Mahi Mahi and Tuna in bluewaters.

The hot July weather is great news for holidaymakers. Make the most of the bite by targeting Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Kingfish offshore. If you want to take advantage of Tarpon season, head to the flats.

Captain said bottom fishing was a little more dependable the week we were there. Caught 10-12 fish in less than 2 hours before I had to cut it short for the kids. When we docked I saw another crew that went deep sea fishing with about 8 fish laid out with a nice sized bonito and mahi so seems like both are productive

We booked the morning run and had a great experience. Crew says it doesn’t matter time of day to fish. We wore runners and shorts/swimsuits. Sunscreen. Bring a cooler to put any fish you wish to take home and they will supply ice. Don’t be discouraged if you don’t catch fish for a bit as the first few minutes is travelling to where most of the fish are. They supply water and Coke. Enjoy!!

Book a longer trip. 4hrs is not quite enough time for me, but we had plenty to clean in our short 4hr trip. We got lucky and the mahi found us while bottom fishing. So happy there is not a ton of sharks eating everything we caught.

Fishing is fishing. Sometimes you get a catch, sometimes you don't. The morning sun wasn't too bad but around 10am the sun starts to really hit you. The waves weren't too crazy but hit it just right and the boat will rock. We didn't catch anything today Aug 4th but I would go again if I had the time. Never know what you can get.

Had a great four hour morning trip with Dorothy and her crew. Windy season could be a challenge but not for these seasoned veterans. Gear, boat, and tactics were all top notch. The team landed six fish (mahi and bonito), crew cleaned the catch, then lined us up with a local grill within eye shot of the dock. Will be come part of the annual tradition.

We had a great time with Capt. Tromp and mate Gregory. There were 4 of us that were cruising into Aruba from Miami and we all caught a fish. 4 Mahi Mahi and 2 skipjacks. Gregory and Capt. Helped take the fish over to the restaurant to get cooked up...yummy. great time Highly recommend!

We had 4 teenage boys who were on their high school senior trip. The only thing they wanted to do was go fishing. They caught 6 small fish called bonitas, but they were disappointed to not catch anything big. The crew was great! It wasn’t anything they did wrong. They can’t guarantee big fish. All in all, the boys still had fun. Thank you to the crew!

My husband and I had a great time and he caught a nice wahoo. The captain Sau and his first mate Richard were the best! They made it a comfortable trip and we learned a lot about the area and Aruba. Kind people and very knowledgeable and talented. Rene was quick to respond to questions and it was a quick ride from the Marriott stelaris where we were staying. When we got back Lucy’s cooked up the fish 3 ways and ways and was amazing. Would recommend.

Captain Tom and first mate Chris was spectacular. Great customer service. The bite was a bit slow but we got fish in the boat. Landed two nice Tuna and a large Mahi. We hooked up on a Wahoo on a hand line. That was my first experience with a hand line in open water. That was a fun fight! It spit the hook as I got it right up to the boat. What an amazing experience to hook one on a hand line. I highly recommend this boat and crew.

Fishing with this crew is a must .. Captain Tom, great guy! I love to deep sea fish, and this trip did not disappoint- - first ever Aruba fishing trip and caught wahoo and mahi mahi .. talk about delicious!! Brought home dinner for the group, only suggestion is be sure to let the captain know how much fish you want to leave with, as we would have definitely enjoyed a second round!

Crew worked their buts off for us, we charted with them last year, but unfortunately the sea was extremely rough that day and we got blanked. This year we caught some tuna, had several bites with the highlight hooking a blue marlin, or so we thought….typical the big fish got away story, is true. Awesome experience….great crew, highly recommend Dorothy charter!

Roberto and Gregory were great. Both are knowledgeable and clearly LOVE what they do! We booked a Half Day AM Trip: as per description, "fishing just a few minutes from Aruba's coastline", we ended up 45-60 min from coastline. Not sure why they took us deep sea fishing instead. Waters were rough! All 4 of us caught bonito, and were able to take fish home. Great day fishing in the sun, although we wished we would have been take on the trip we signed up for.

It was an amazing day with Captain Tom and Crew! Went out for an 8 hour trip to the rough side ! Theire was a lot of rock n roll on the top water and the current was fuck as hell! We caught just a small cuda but hey fishing is like gambling if soy know what I mean :) never than less we had a great time on high times and I would recommend captain Tom for every one who loves fishing and the simple life! Captain Tom picked us up at our cruise ship early morning and we had a really good time on his boat. We managed to catch a Wahoo and a Rainbow Runner. We would definitely charter him again when we return to Aruba.

Had a great time fishing on our 6 hour run. We caught two barracuda, a king mackerel and a 4’ wahoo. They do a 50/50 catch. The crew filleted ours right there at the dock and we were able to have it cooked at our resort (Tamarijn) for dinner that night. Would definitely go again. The crew was amazing and well prepared for the 6 of us that went.
