Hampstead Amberjack Fishing Charters

Captain Joe will take you for some serious offshore sportfishing as you go up to 25 miles offshore. The species you will target are prestigious, such as Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Amberjack, Barracuda, Sailfish, and other larger species.

This 6-hour morning trip will take you trolling or casting for Spanish Mackerel, fishing the wrecks for Flounder, Redfish, King Mackerel, Barracuda, Amberjack, and Cobia. We the waterways, inlets, and out to 10 miles. Gratuity is not included and is typically 10-20%.

6 hours give you plenty of time to mix it up a little! On this trip, you can do a combination of trolling and bottom fishing. You'll target King Mackerel, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Triggerfish, Black Seabass, and more! Your tackle and bait are included in the price. Also, feel free to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, and whatever other personal items you need, and get ready for an awesome adventure! A fishing license is not required.

Live bait and trolling for larger fish.

Same trip as the full day, just gives you a few more hours to fish.

A 6-hour trip within 20 nautical miles. This trip gives you a wider range of target species and a larger class of fish. You may catch Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Porgy, Seabass, Snapper, and Mahi. A Mate will accompany all fishing charters and works for tips. 20% of the total trip price is customary.

This trip allows us to travel out to the Atlantic Ocean’s Gulf Stream. This South to North flow of warm water is where some of North Carolina’s most prized fish reside. We’ll be using big tackle to do battle with big fish. Different species are more prominent during different times of the year so be sure to ask if you are looking to target something specifically. A typical 12-hour trip consists of trolling and bottom fishing unless the trolling bite is hot or the group strictly wants to bottom fish.

Inshore and Offshore (weather permitting and upon guest preference (let us know if you get seasick and we can stay inshore). Kids welcome. Trout, Drum, Seabass, Flounder, White Grunt, Bonito, Spanish, and Cobia are our most popular and routine catches. Catch us up to 40 miles off the beach targeting Grouper, Snapper, Mahi, larger Amberjack, Bonito, and many more species. Trolling and bottom fishing will be done during this trip. Fishing Licenses are FREE and included in price. Up to 6 people and kids are more than welcome.

On this trip we will fish out to 16 miles. Depending on the season, water temps and what is biting is how we determine the best places to go trolling or bottom fishing.
